I have had a couple of parents ask about class pictures. This round of photos were only individual shots. There was no class picture in the package. However, lifetouch will be coming back in the spring for class pictures. The tradition whole group photo. Each child will get 1 whole class photo at no charge. This is supplied by Lifetouch.
Also, in Kindergarten we will also recieve Grad. Photos. The traditional "Cap and Gown" These will be also taken in the spring. The package will go home, for parents to pick and choose pictures. However, the school does supply a Dated Grad. photo as a gift in the last report card.
If you have any questions please e-mail and phone.
Thanks
Dina

****Classroom Holidays****
*****Important*****
Dear
Parents,
Throughout
the school year, we will be celebrating many holidays in our classroom. (Ex. Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and
Student Birthdays) Most of us associate
these special occasions with food.
Unfortunately, these treats do not always bring happiness to all the
students. Many of your child’s classmates
cannot have certain foods due
to ethnic, religious or health reasons.
For this reason, I ask that if you do feel that you want to send treats
for the class please try to make it “non-edible” and send them in individual
bags or Ziplocs to be handed out quickly and easily at the end of the day.
Examples:
Birthday
Party Trinkets for loot bags
Loonie
Store Trinkets
Stickers,
Pencils, Erasers, Playdough, Tattoos
**Sending treats for the class is not required.**
If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 780-986-8456 or dina.hannon@blackgold.ca
Sincerely,
Mrs.
