****Classroom Holidays****
*****Important*****
Dear
Parents,
Throughout
the school year, we will be celebrating many holidays in our classroom. (Ex. Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and
Student Birthdays) Most of us associate
these special occasions with food.
Unfortunately, these treats do not always bring happiness to all the
students. Many of your child’s classmates
cannot have certain foods due
to ethnic, religious or health reasons.
For this reason, I ask that if you do feel that you want to send treats
for the class please try to make it “non-edible” and send them in individual
bags or Ziplocs to be handed out quickly and easily at the end of the day.
Examples:
Birthday
Party Trinkets for loot bags
Loonie
Store Trinkets
Stickers,
Pencils, Erasers, Playdough, Tattoos
**Sending treats for the class is not required.**
If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 780-986-8456 or dina.hannon@blackgold.ca
Sincerely,
Mrs.
Dina Hannon
