First Kindergarten Sledding Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow is our first sledding day so if you have sent in the signed permission slip giving your child permission to go down the hill, they will be able to have a great recess.

All these rules were outlined in the letter attached to the permission slip.

**Your child will also need their snow pants, toque, and mitts/gloves in order to toboggan.

**Only foam carpet type sled may be used on the hill.
Crazy carpets, toboggans and other hard plastic sleds will not be allowed.

The school will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to foam carpets that are left at the school.  Please ensure your child's name is on the carpet.

Christmas Tree Triangles(Samples)

Family Christmas Triangle Decorations

Below are some sample triangles which have been completed by our
Willow Park School Families and students.

Generally, this is how it should look when all the triangles are put together to make "Big" Christmas Trees of all our Willow Park Families.

Hope this helps and gives you a better idea on how to decorate your family triangle.

Teddy Bears

Christmas Concert Song Prop

For the Christmas Concert the students will preform the song, "Teddy Bear Twist".  Mrs. Grey would like the students to bring in a teddy bear of their own, if they have one.  It should be no bigger then 1 foot high, but not too small that the audience would not be able to see it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks
Mrs. Hannon

Thursday, December 12th All Students

All Kindergarten students
have school for the full day on
Thursday, December 12.

Christmas Concert Information
With the increase in enrollment we have experienced over the past few years, it has become apparent that we have outgrown our gym for the annual Christmas Concert. We are very fortunate to be able to use Daystar Christian Church as a venue for our concert. This brand new building is located at the corner of Rollyview Road and CW Gaetz Road (RR # 250). There will be two performances on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 1:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. More information will be sent home with students in the coming weeks.

Due to the Daytime Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 12, 2013, Mrs. Hannon will be combining both the Mon/Wed class and the Tues/Thurs. class on this day.  This will allow all the students to be bussed and present for the afternoon performance.  Therefore, all Kindergarten students have school for the full day on Thursday, December 12.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at
780-986-8456 or dina.hannon@blackgold.ca
Sincerely,
Mrs. D. Hannon
